The NCAA image and likeness rule will do a lot for wealth accumulation for highschool athletes. Student athletes are making BANK of being content creators.
 
Chances of high schooler making the NBA: 0.01%
Chances of making it to D1 basketball ~3%
 
Students don’t need to depend on that 0.01% to gain wealth. Their odds of doing very well financially have 300x.
 
The caveat is that not all D1 athletes make a lot of money…..but not all NBA players have a successful career. So equalizing the occurrence of non-success in both groups we can still use the 300x assumption (:
